I have been using an ADJ Midicon II board with no issues with myDMX5 and Windows 11. The January Windows 11 update shuts off the Midicon board after 56 seconds, making it useless.
The strange thing is that if I run my old CompuShow software, the Midicon board turns back on for as long as CompuShow remains alive. Once I turn it off, the Midicon board goes off again.
Any thoughts?

I actually JUST heard back from some of the software team this morning and they have some questions:
This happens before myDMX is even started. After turning on the midi board, you have 56 seconds before it shuts off. The only way it turns itself back on is if I run CompiShow. It stays on as long as ComuShow is running, but if I run myDMX at the same time, it doesn't recognize the midi board (most likely because CompuShow has control of it. Once ComuShow is shut down, the midiboard shuts off again.
All drivers are current as far as I know. I haven't tied or am familiar with the midi watched tool.
Hi, Mark, I can give you a quick run down on where to find midi watcher tool on MyDMX5, or as a last resort i could remote view or control your laptop with a program you install and i can look around myself later today or tomorrow?
What we really would just need you to do is; leave the midicon unplugged, load up 5.0 software, open midi watcher, plug in midicon 2 and report to us what you see logged in the midi watcher and see if it shuts itself off or never shows up.
The "MIDI/OSC Watcher" is in the "Tools" section by file edit mappings,etc at the top of the program screen for 5.0
