I have had an issue with the MyDMX 5 Hardware Box disconnect from the software when my computer sits for a while and the screen turns off. I have tried to go into the settings and check the box to connect it to the software but the box won't select and the Hardware Box says no show. The only way to get it to reconnect to the software is to close and reopen the software or disconnect the usb c cable from the box and reconnect it.

Hello sir, I think you are refering to the computer`s screen that is turning of right? Well if that is the case you have a few options that are not myDMX 5 related they are related to the Windows/Mac computer. If you use Windows (sorry I don`t know Mac settings, I never owned one, but maybe they are somewhat similar) First set the computer screen turning off time to ''never'' ,then if it has a screen saver deactivate it in settings: in Windows you set it to ''never'' or if it is a picture slide show you set it to ''paused'' .Then go to the sleep and hibernate setting of the computer and turn them off completely so the computer is always on and full potential. And lastly go to usb settings and at the port where the interface is connected set it up to ''power management - allow to turn the device off - no (set it to no) '' .After all these settings are done, the computer will run full potential and it will never enter to sleep, hibernate or usb turning offs. This should be always done with a computer/laptop that runs various software and interfaces for work pourposes.
Hey there, I just purchased the ADJ hardware "13 buttons/1024 universes. I downloaded and used the SUT to register. I received a "Order Error 104" I tried many different time to make sure I was doing the correct steps and kept getting the message: " Can't register this interface" and it tells me to give this error to technical support. I purchased the unit new from Sweetwater in the US. I have a show coming up and desperately need help. I downloaded MyDMX 5 a few weeks ago and have spent much time in programing it. THANKS!
