About 3 or so months ago, we bought ten Ultra LB18s. For a while, they were working fine. However, for the past month, each one has been dimming off for some period of time or going to full brightness and fading back out. We’ve verified that this is not a DMX issue, and now I’m at a loss for what it could be.



Has anyone else been having similar issues? We already are sending one of them back for RMA because of having lime out in one of the cells.

I have encountered a similar issue with the Ultra LB18s dimming and fading erratically. To address it, I recommend reaching out to the manufacturer or supplier to report the problem and inquire about possible solutions or replacements under warranty.

At one point, I caught the screen on the status page, and the current temp said 100 degrees Celsius. After a quick power cycle, it went back to 26 degrees Celsius. As of now, I have still not gotten any reply to any of the emails I sent to ADJ. I won't be buying these fixtures again, since every single unit we purchased has the exact same issue.

That’s super unfortunate. I love the fixtures. The color mixing and CRI on the whites are fantastic for back lighting. They also have a such a fantastic spread for a bar light. I just need the issue fixed and I haven’t been able to figure out a fix. They are also relatively newer so there isn’t much chatter on them in general. For the cost, we should be able to expect them to not glitch out.

I've tried emailing them. Even the unit we already had RMA'd has the exact same issue. I'd say it might be a firmware problem, but at this point I'm still not getting email replies

I just had a similar issue within the last 36 hours. I installed these in the ceiling of a heavy duty tent and left them on overnight. I came back the next day and 10 out of the 24 units installed were completely dead. Wouldn't power on or anything. They still passed DMX and power but the menu wouldn't turn on and they are dead in the water. Now I'm replacing a rig that's dead hung 20 ft in the air in the middle of the night so it's ready for tomorrow's event. Not cool, ADJ. These units have less than 200 hours on them. We bought them in March.

Someone from support sent me this sheet. They said to make sure both IR Remote and RDM were set to off. I had both of those on. I turned them off and for the first time in a while didn’t notice any erratic behavior with my fixtures this evening. Early, but so far so good. So just something to check and try for others having issues.
