I have the same problem with my laptop and I still cant figure out whats up. First I woudl try lifting the ground on everything that can be lifted. Maybe try a direct box as well in between the ps2 and the mixer maybe youll hagve some luck there. I still cant figure out my problem. Let me know if any of those things work out for ya. I had the same thing happen recently with the Laptop hooked to a mixer hooked to the great sounding DLS-15P's. I ended up hooking the laptop to a different circuit (breaker) and that took care of it. I know that sometimes that is not convinent, but it is worth a try. Be careful lifting grounds, the PS-2 have a powerful chip that could be more prone to acting up if the power is compromised.
