I had the same thing happen recently with the Laptop hooked to a mixer hooked to the great sounding DLS-15P's. I ended up hooking the laptop to a different circuit (breaker) and that took care of it. I know that sometimes that is not convinent, but it is worth a try. Be careful lifting grounds, the PS-2 have a powerful chip that could be more prone to acting up if the power is compromised.
