November Profile Request Thread.

Welcome to the November 2010 Profile Request thread. Please keep on-topic.

A few reminder rules:

1: When making a request, please state the make and model of the fixture.

2: Please post a link to the manual or a photo of the DMX traits or post the DMX traits. Please, English versions preferred.

3: If posting traits, please be as complete as possible.

4: Please be patient. It's best to make sure you're not under a deadline, like "I need it in 2 hours" for example. Please allow a bit of time. A couple of days is reasonable.

5: Please check the updated scan library link on the my dmx product page for your fixtures before requesting profiles. Or join my shared drop box folder. http://db.tt/6q9QkL The link for profiles on the my dmx product page can be found at the bottom of every one of my post.

Also let me add that if someone else get's their profile before you but you posted your request before them please do not be offended as some profiles take more time than others

Just one question about it, how can I blackout it? I don't want the laser to work all night.

All DMX values at 0? There was no specific blackout value as far as i could tell in the dmx traits. As confusing as they were too.

No, that doesn't blackout, I think there are some errors in it, so does the 5th channel the macro's in stead of the 3th, I've tried different things to blackout the laser but I can't find it..

No, the company has no website, no phone.. nothing.. It's like the company doesn't even exists.. I've tried to contact aztec-electronics but they don't know this laser.. It's all very strange.. I don't know what to do now

There you go DJDEEM. you may also try this same profile for the TW RGB9. I'm fairly confident they have the same dmx traits. Not that either company copied the other but there is in most cases a universal good idea on how to control a LED par can like that with 7 channels and a lot of companies use that. Make sense?

@ Jingles: I've finally had an answer of somebody who sells the AZTEK venus laser. The DMX is worthless.. there are a dmx in and dmx out in the laser but they are useless..
That's why your profile didn't work..
I'm sorry for al the work you had with it for me..
AZTEK is NOT!! AZTEC-ELECTRONICS, it's an other company. If someone considers to buy something from AZTEK : DON'T DO IT! It's a complete ripoff!!!

That's too bad. It's ok. Now you should go out and buy a Galaxian sky laser from ADJ. Also be on the look out for our new laser we will have coming out this year or sometime after January. Really awesome effects coming out.
