Welcome to the November 2010 Profile Request thread. Please keep on-topic.

A few reminder rules:

1: When making a request, please state the make and model of the fixture.

2: Please post a link to the manual or a photo of the DMX traits or post the DMX traits. Please, English versions preferred.

3: If posting traits, please be as complete as possible.

5: Please check the updated scan library link on the my dmx product page for your fixtures before requesting profiles. Or join my shared drop box folder. http://db.tt/6q9QkL The link for profiles on the my dmx product page can be found at the bottom of every one of my post.

Also let me add that if someone else get's their profile before you but you posted your request before them please do not be offended as some profiles take more time than others
Thanks and have fun.

@ Jingles: I've finally had an answer of somebody who sells the AZTEK venus laser. The DMX is worthless.. there are a dmx in and dmx out in the laser but they are useless..
That's why your profile didn't work..
I'm sorry for al the work you had with it for me..
AZTEK is NOT!! AZTEC-ELECTRONICS, it's an other company. If someone considers to buy something from AZTEK : DON'T DO IT! It's a complete ripoff!!!

Can I have a sneakpeak of this new laser? :P

so here is what you do. in the dmx universe grid insert 3 of the _generic RGb profile to get your 9 channels of RGb control then use one of the profile I have just linked you too for your channel 10 11 and 12 control modes and master dimmer. Let me know if this make sense. I sincerely apologize about the delay.
Sincerely,
Hey Jingles,

I'm helping a friend get a club set up here in our small town, and talked him into the MY DMX software. Then his invester talked him into buying cheap lighing from China, which doesn't have a profile inside My DMX. UGH! SO I have been trying to get them working for about a week before I broke down and now I am posting. Here are links to documents for both fixtures. I really hope you are able to gleen enough info to create a profile for them.

Thanks for your help,
Dallas

also what's so confusing about this manual is it list dmx value but then there is a percentage symbol next to it. but dmx (hex)values are different than percentage values. lol so that is what's trowing me off. Are those actual dmx channel values or dmx channel values in percentage?
Also what's funny is the 39 channel mode chart channels 4-39 have Apr-39. but the funny part is April(Apr) is month 4 in the year haha! So do you want 3 or 29 channel mode?
Sincerely,
Hey Jingles,

Sorry about the "Apr-39," I had to created both these manuals from scratch. It is actually 4-39. But I am never going to want to run it in 39 channel mode as 4-39 are just on/off for each individual laser. The percentages now actually paying attention to what I wrote they look more like they are normal binary values, that represent much different percentage values. (1-7 would be like 3%)SO ignore the percentage sign. Sorry man, and thanks for taking the time to do this.

I will be controlling 4 of these with 8 lasers on each is how this config is looking like its gonna have to be laid out. I told him next time just buy all ADJ.
