As I'm new to my external mappings with Traktor Pro and my Vms4 I attempted to use my headphones as I normally do with internal mixers that I have used in the past. So I plugged in my headphones (with an adapter) to the front of my Vms4 and all I received was master volume.
So my question basically is; is it possible with an external mixer to play audio out of a specified playing channel?
And 2.- Is it possible to map the "headphone" icons in traktor to a mixer?

Sci Ben---- You can map out the MIDI send of the MIDI log CUE buttons to trigger the CUE on Traktors GUI, however be aware that there is no MIDI return the LED's are only for the VMS4 Mixer CUE indicator, If you must have an indicator on the screen just make sure the CUE leds are off before starting the software and the are of on the software before you trigger them on the VMS4, you also want to avoid clicking this on the GUI with the mouse so you dont of set the value.

1.Just press the Cue button on the VMS4 this should route the audio to the Headphone bus. considering that the VMS4 is routing the desired Traktor deck to the desired VMS4 channel.
2.MIDI COMMUNICATION has a send and and input on USB devices you can send a MIDI command from the Cue buttons but to prevent MIDI interference with the LED's on the CUE indicator there is no MIDI input on those commands.
Do you refer "cue" as the larger button below the jog wheels, or the smaller ones below the midi channels?
I had in mind to hear the output of a specified channel which would not be playing through master.
The larger cue button does not work as my description says, and I have the smaller cues mapped out to trigger the filters.

Sorry I must have missed this, where does it say this?

well you must choose? Why you would map you filters to the PFL buttons makes no sense to me but if it works for you great.

Try my mapper the file includes a mapping layout in PDF or illustrator file. The Filters are set to the Sampler select knob when pushed down on/off(sampler play) Audio setting available if you want to import(set VMS4 to 8 out)
