Hi there. I'm new to all of this, and an admitting to be stumped by this issue of mine! Could anyone please explain as to how I set up a UV cob cannon to run in DMX MODE please?! I'm trying to set it up with a MYDMX GO unit, but I can only get so far with that. The app seems straightforward, but the unit is definitely defeating me right now! All I'm saying is numbers that make some sense, but that don't relate to anything DMX in my eyes!

Hi, the UV Cob cannon should switch to DMX mode as soon as it detects a DMX signal on its DMX ports, are you ensuring that the channel mode you patch into the app, matches the channel mode that the fixture itself is manually set too within the menu? Also the same address? If you are using address 1, try putting it on address 5 or 10 just to sanity check the address settings.
Also if you are using many other lights in the app, the GO has only 256 DMX channels by default, so if you patch anything after DMX address 256, it will not work, you would need. to purchase a channel pack from the web store.
