Does anyone know who to set a "Bally Hoo" effect in My DMX 2.0? and i cant seem to make my moving heads pan or tilt invert? I select this in the setup but they Are not doing the invert. I have 6 Chauvet intimidator 350 running 14 channel DMX. I Do not want to set the invert on the moving heads themselves. I am using the latest firmware for my DMX (Feb 2013)

In the scene editor screen you can setup a movement effect with up to 10 positions, I set it up as a circle effect and move the points as mixed up as possible. As for inverting the tilt in the software and not the fixture. Good luck. I have the same fixtures and it wouldn't work in version 1 and hasn't worked in version 2.

Also I'd like to say I'm appalled that someone more official hasn't replied to your inquiry. Instead a user that has the same knowledge you do gives you the best answer they have.
Hello Fort,

Thanks for the reply. I am upset that nobody official answered this post from the company. I am not happy with the MY DMX 2.0 controller program for numerous reasons. Coming from a lighting background of doing club and Larger productions, I always used a board style controller (Elektralite CP-100 and CP10xt)with my Clay Paky fixtures. Since then I sold all of my Clay Paky Fixtures and controllers. I wanted to get back into lighting and picked up the MY DMX. That was a big mistake. My DMX 2.0 has a lot of bugs causing crashes and promised additions that will or may never happen. Pan and tilt invert in the controller in my opinion is a must for any lighting programmer who is programming fixtures (moving head or mirror type fixtures.) I am going to use the effects generator to see if i can accomplish the "Bally Hoo" effect but its easier if i can invert the even fixtures only. Lets see what happens. But thanks again for your reply.
Yeah, I ended up having to invert at the fixture and make sure that I always put them in the right order. I agree with you on the limitations, coming from a theatre lighting background I'm used to quick bumping channels, layering scenes, fade ins, and fade outs, auto follows, and of course fader wings. I've searched for a suitable USB set of faders without any luck, if even just to put things like Hazers and Strobes that you want to flick on or off at any given time. Unfortunately the American DJ software is designed for just that DJs. There are some similar setups more geared to a professional detailed design, but it is going to add costs. Good luck with your show.

Fort Conspiracy.
