it feels like adj never got this right all those years, so many times this app been crashing after an regular update to fix bugs, just a lot of lost time

Hi, sorry you are having issues, can you tell me what release date of mydmx 3 and on what operating system?
If you are on Mac we have not advised anyone to upgrade to the newest OS version yet.

2019 upgrade on a MacBook not Catalina it was working fine until I did the update probably some setting that I don’t know about

Well please provide as much detail as you can for us about the crashing and if you can reproduce any such crash, we will certainly look into it. if you can confirm the exact Mac OS version number, that is a good start. Thanks!
I have it running now is still crashing if I let the laptop to go to sleep I will test it tomorrow on the long run. I am saving after each scenes. It might’ve been the registration process. Thank you for the fast response. I need a little help on creating a scene with moving heads flipping back random or organized an only lighting in the front I know u have a video on mydmx2 I gust need a starting point thank you
When using the software and especially when running to to play your programming back live at a show, ALWAYS turn off ANY power saving setting, that could easily be the cause, power savings generally break the connect from the device to the software and if the software hangs trying to re-connect to the device, that could easily cause a crash. turning off any and all power saving options like screen saver and sleep or hybrid sleep on hard drives is a must for production use.
