When using the software and especially when running to to play your programming back live at a show, ALWAYS turn off ANY power saving setting, that could easily be the cause, power savings generally break the connect from the device to the software and if the software hangs trying to re-connect to the device, that could easily cause a crash. turning off any and all power saving options like screen saver and sleep or hybrid sleep on hard drives is a must for production use.
