VMS4.1 + traktor + usb hub

Hello everyone,

First I want to thank ADJ for their great products, the really helped to start my DJ career.

So I have been spinnin the decks and expanding my equipment for about 1,5 years. Now I use my vms4.1 with traktor 2 pro. I'm planning to buy a Kontrol F1 so I can control the remix decks in trakor. I recently bougt a powered USB-hub with 4 ports, and plugged it into my 2.0 usb port on my laptop.

The problem is that the ASIO driver and also the traktor software doesn't see my VMS4.1 anymore and no MIDI or audio signals are being transmitted. It works again when I directly plug it into my laptop without using the usb-hub.

Cause I am going to expand my gear and I need more usb ports I need to fix this problem. Maybe the hub isn't supported. What do I need to do?

-Do I need to buy a new usb-hub?
-If yes, are there any supported usb-hubs?
-Is there something wrong whit my settings?

as a rule of thumb: the device with the soundcard should always be plugged in directly. everything else can go via hub.
