About 8 months ago i purchased 2 pro scratch 2s and a qmx2 bpm mixer. I can remember the first time i used them, The music was not very loud at all so i thought it must have been a problem with the amp. So i hooked it all up to a brand new amplifier and it made no difference at all. Every time i use my pro scratch 2s i have my master control on full my slider on full and my gain on full. I just found out it is the mixer that is the problem, because i hooked my pro scratch 2s up to another mixer from a different brand and it went really loud and sounded really good. I must say i am dissapointed with american dj.

At any point did you attempt to contact your dealer or American DJ and ask about any possible issues???? If the mixer was defective, and I can assure you, any mixer from any company can have series of issues (ppd01 - 9 straight sold, 9 straight came back with issues). If you thought something was wrong, you could've contacted the service dept or your own dealer and had the issue resolved, which would've greatly lessened your disappointment.
8 months and you haven't contacted the distributor in Australia. The QMX2bpm has great output and should drive most amps to clipping. Is it set to the correct voltage? did you use the rec out have you tried all the outputs including Zone 2, balanced out . If there is a problem it still should be under warranty. this is our distributor in Australia contact them.www.lightsounds.com
