I was told I would need to upgrade hardware from the MyDMX 3.0 units in order to run MyDMX 5. I have 2 units connected. However my son has a MyDMXBuddy and can run 1 universe via MyDMX 5 software without any issues. Can anyone confirm if I can continue to run 2 universes on 2 3.0 interfaces after upgrading to MyDMX5 software?

Hi, did you purchase upgraded licenses for each of your 3.0 interfaces? As long as you purchased the correct license to use them on MyDMX 5, then you should be good to go.
The Buddy would also need to have a license upgrade as well.

To clarify, I will need to upgrade the license on each 3.0 device? Do you happen to know the yearly upgrade cost off hand? I am not in front of the computer with the devices and I need to get approval from the boss for the total.

Hi, don't quote. me, but i believe. these are the tiers that are available for the 3.0 hardware. you will need to pay this for EACH individual 3.0 hardware you wish to use on 5.0
