Scene question

I do not believe you can edit a scene while it is running but you can play it back once done and then go back in and edit some more.
Could you post a picture of the 4 dmx tabs?

Wow that was fast,Jingles the tabs I speak of are in the 3D viewer. If you hit DMX it pulls up a window with 4 DMX Universe tabs

oh the 3D is able to read dmx data from up too 4 dmx universes. However my dmx only gives you one. There are several programs that also use that same 3D visualizer program that is why that is there.

James, how do I make the 3D visualizer run my scenes? I can't seem to figure that out.

The 3D should play the information it is getting from the my dmx program by default. Have you been messing around in the 3D with any settings?

James, when I launch the 3d visualizer with my completed stage, and play any of my scenes, they don't play back through the visualizer. I haven't changed any settings that I am aware of.

Can you verify in the patch manager in the 3D that you have get the patch automatically from the controller checked like in this picture?

Yes James, my screen looks virtually identical to yours, all items checked appropriately.

In that case, go into a scene in MyDMX and then check the 3D Visualizer.

Chances are you need to really make your stage/room and lighting design. Your lights may simply be lighting up in an area you're not looking at.
