Radius 3000 seems slow

Has anyone else experienced slow CD loading with the Radius 3000?

Also, I sometimes have to turn a unit off and back on quickly because it seems to crash! This has happened on both my units several times.

I am careful with my gear and have the official AA CD case which houses the players.

Do I need some sort of update to the software?

It's made my last few gigs quite unpleasant as I've been left panicking with a minute to go on one player and hoping the the other player will load the CD.

It does it with normal bought CD's and MP3 CD...although the MP3 CD is a lot worse!

The USB stick loads fine however. Possibly some kind of laser issue?

Any help would be great.
