This may seem like a dumb question and I apologize in advance. Whenever I create a scene and add a effect (matrix, etc), it seems to carry over to every other scene/group I have. Is there a way to keep that one effect to one scene?

When you start making an effect, when you are done you generate it, correct? The only time i am aware of that the effects stay open is if you didn't generate and the FX is still playing in the Fx tab.
