Profiles cause software crash

Hi, MyDMX newbie here.
Ive been using an NE1 for years, but have swapped some of my lights and the NE1 just doesnt do them justice, so i have bought a second hand buddy. I'm only running 6 lights, but two of them seem to make the system crash if i select anything other than mode 1. I have 3 equionox fusion 100 spots, 2 adj pocket inno spots and a multiform versoclub. I would like to run the pocket spots in 9 channel mode and the versoclub in 12 channel mode, but when i select that profile, the software just shuts down. Am I doing something stupid??
