The product page says 7 channels:
http://www.x-laser.com/display...0G&X-Laser=v06X22304
But if you think it is 10 channel, I would say contact X laser and let me know or have them email me a correct manual. Dan at X laser should have my email address already as I have spoken with him in the past.
Sincerely,
I spoke with John at X-Laser and he pointed me to http://www.x-laser.com/manuals/XSeriesManual07-09.pdf
He said all the X series uses the same DMX traits. So I guess you can't control the two lasers independently.

Ok. So the profile I sent you is good?
I'll let you know Tuesday. Any word on when the RGB and blue green lasers are available?
Thanks for the profile!

Hi James,
Not sure if you saw my last message, but I need the profile for the PULSE LED Par 56 PARCAN that you created last month for another user. Please can you post a link to it as the gig is this weekend and I have to control 6 of them and the customer is being very particular about colours and brightness - not that she's OCD or anything !!
Many thanks,
DJH

I'm new to the forum and MYDMX, and I have two fixture profile requests that I can't find anywhere (or even fixtures close enough to being 'similar'). I hope this is the correct way to request them. If so, THANK YOU in advance for your help!
First fixture is a generic 11 channel moving head spot (30W LED)

17 - 33 Red
34 - 50 Yellow
51 - 67 Light Blue
68 - 84 Green
85 - 101 Orange
102 - 107 UV
108 - 125 Blue
126 - 192 Speed adjust rotate right thru colors
193 - 255 Speed adjust rotate left thru colors
Channel 2 - 6 GOBO Wheel
0 - 20 Open
21 - 41 Squiggly Circle
42 - 62 Sun
63 - 83 Whacky Circle
84 - 104 Broken Lines
105 - 119 Star
120 - 127 Crazy Circle
128 - 192 GOBO Wheel Rotates Right Thru GOBO's
193 - 255 GOBO Wheel Rotates Left Thru GOBO's
Channel 3 - GOBO Rotation
Channel 4 - Open + Shutter
Channel 5 - Pan
Channel 6 - Tilt
Channel 7 - Speed for Pan Tilt
Channel 8 - Macro (Haven't figured this out - seems to do nothing)
Channel 9 - Pan 16 Bit (No idea what this means)
Channel 10 - Tilt 16 Bit (Still no clue)
Channel 11 Reset (???)
The values I provided were from just running the light with my controller and writing them down.

for the LED mover can you not find a PDF link? Or scan a copy of the DMX traits?

Thanks so much, James.
For the moving head, it's a generic that I picked up after a local company had finished 'sampling' it. The only documentation they gave me is from the manufacturer in China, and it simply lists the channels and titles of them (no DMX values). I just wrote down the color and gobo wheele values as I went through them on my controller.
The only additional information I can offer, is that channel 3 starts from no rotation (0), and then gobo rotates fast to slow clockwise. Then half way through the channel, counter clockwise slow to fast.
And channel 7 starts fast (0) to slow (255) for the speed of pan and tilt.
I have no idea what channel 8 even does. I've not been able to get it to do anything, no matter which additional faders are engaged. And the 16 bit stuff means nothing to me, nor does reset...although I assume that maybe just brings the head around back to it's starting point?

Bump.
Jingles, do you have any ideas for a profile on this 11 channel moving head? I can try and find the actual manufacturer, and see if I can get better documentation...though I'm not really sure where to start at this point.

sorry about that. I'll do my best to make it by the end of the day today.
No problem, I appreciate all the help. Thanks so much!

Also 16 bit pan and tilt means the motors will move very finely between two steps in the motors. It's a way to have smooth movement and more accurate positions.
