Profile function for Auto/Sound Active crashes myDMX3

I have a few Stage Right Stage Wash 10w x 36 LED Moving Head, w/ zoom fixtures. I found a profile for the fixtures in the library. Within the 16 chnl mode, there are pre-programmed functions, including Auto-run programs, and Sound Active. Whenever I try to dial up those channels it activates the lights, but then crashes the myDMX software. (note: it did this in the myDMX2 version as well...) I would like to have this as an option as as then I don't have to always one of my programs, I can just let them do their own thing to the music... Any thoughts of the cause? ...solution? Thanks in advance
