Pocket scan

They are nice, small, easy to use lights. Pretty good value - especially if you shop around. The light isn't very strong though so they can wash out depending on what else you are running. The laser can wash out pretty easy too. It all depends on what other effects/lights you are running. If you aren't running other lights in the 250 - 350 watt range and don't run many cans, the pockets can work just fine.

personally i have 4 and they're great as long as they are the only light on. (i don't turn on any others at the same time) the laser is cool but they do wash out if you are playing med. to large venues. by far my best light.

Do you guys think the 3 dj scans i own would wash
out the pocket scans.

no, also do a search for pocketscans in this forum this have been discused way too maney times

Pockets should be fine with the D Scans

Nope but you will notice a dif. in brightness.

Pocket scans are awesome I have 8 hooked up to a show designer. I also have a mobolazer lil g beam, one of my programed shows is just the red and green lasers it looks awesome. The lasers will show up best with a fogger, I personaly use a hazer for the pocket scan beams and a fogger for the lazers.

thats really amazing, 8 pockets. That really must be a show. What kinda set up do you have? Like do you have a whole truss system (Triangle or Square Truss System) or just a 3 peice set up (two tripods and a 2-bar truss conection)

I use a crank stand in the middle that holds 4 of them and a bar with two on either side.
