Can anyone please tell me when changing the pitch on the SDJ2 it generaly goes up in increments of 1, so it will be .1 till it reaches 4, 8 or 16, depending which you have it set to, sometimes i find i can move the slighter a but and the incement doesnt actualy change, is there any pitch change when i do this or does it have to go up for example 0.1, 0.2 etc.. basicly are there any half changes when the number doesnt change but i move the slider and it moved a bit without changing the no?

I hope you understand what i mean.

Also does anyone find much difference having tempo lock on / off?

hello james. very slight push or pull of the pitch slider may or may not change the increment displayed especially at 4% range. subsequently, the actual pitch may or may not be altered if the slider is slightly pushed or pulled despite without change in the display. to me personally, this matter overall is negligible. what's important is the pro or novice dj is able to beatmatch sequencer or drum machine-driven beats of two songs irregardless of pitch slider and range settings, and increments displayed. yes, there is a big difference between having the tempo lock on or off when moving the pitch slider forth or back.

have fun! Big Grin

Digital pitch controllers like on CD players/Media players are different than analog pitch sliders like on a Turntable. If you move the pitch slider to -2.3 and then move it a little more, but it still displays -2.3, then it is still -2.3. There is no micro adjustment over what the display shows you. Sorry.
