PAR 36/64 LED vs. Leprecon LPX48

Has anyone tried to set up the PAR36/64 LEDs on a Leprecon LPX48 console? I've tried, to no avail, to program the "dimming" capabilities of these fixtures to this console. What I'm trying to do is get it so that when I pull the master fader down, the 36/64s dim with every other light. So far, all I can do is program a "blackout step" for them. It's a real pain since these are the only LED lights I cannot get to properly dim. Elations work perfectly. Could it be bc the PAR36/64 LEDs have to "dedicated" dimmer channel (as Elations do)?

Maybe.

The 64B LED Pro's(the Par64 LED Pros in general) all have a "dedicated dimming channel", while the regular 64 LED's, as I understand it, do not. I know for sure the 64 LED Pros do this because I own 8 of them and they do have a "dedicated dimming" channel, which in my opinion is necessary. Use the RGB channels to assign the color properly, while using the master diming channel to dial in the intensity of the light.

Read the manuals, get your channel assigments and you should be good to go.

I have all the channels set up (per the manual) and still when I pull the master fader down, these lights don't dim with it. That's the problem. Even though I have it programmed according to the book (both the LED manual and the LPX manual), the LPX48 (apparently) doesn't know how to dim this fixture. This is only true on these ADJs without the dedicated dimmer channel.

I keep hoping someone will show me what I'm doing wrong. At least, I hope it's me and not simply a lack of the proper protocol on the LEDs.

Thanks. I don't like the answer (since I was hoping I was programming something wrong) but at least now I know that I'm not crazy.

I have a workaround (if anyone ever asks): program a "blind step" in the sequence so the lights fade out. It's a little cumbersome but it works.
