Connection to router

Hi, been struggling with loss of connection at gigs so I've introduced a router which I believed would solve the issue. It works fine whilst mydmx go is logged in to the router ( done manually via hardware manager ) but as soon as I power down the mydmx go and take it to the venue ( or simply plug it back in at home ) it seems to forget the router connection and needs to be reconnected via hardware manager. Obviously not going to work as I don't take my pc to a gig.

There doesn't appear to be an option in settings for automatically connecting to a network, is there a way to make this happen otherwise the router setup seems pretty redundant without a laptop ( to run hardware manager for manual connection every time )

Firmware is all up to date, router is tp link Tl-WR802N, ipad connects just fine to the router.
