One simple question
has anybody downloaded mydmx software
to a memory stick and transferred to another computer
winRAR sixe 50.9 mb

I have tried this on 4 different computers
and get the same error message
referenced to my earlier comment
moving a file
without Internet access and no installation disk provided
it seems impossible

you should have gotten one in the box when you purchased it. you can download it from our website if you wish. The link is in my signature. Or you can request a physical CD from us which could take up to two weeks to get to you if we have copies on hand. so those are your options. Let me know which one you pick.
Sincerely,
It's faster to just download the software and then if you insist on putting it on a stick, then go ahead and do that.

You do need to UNZIP the software somewhere. You can't run it directly from the .ZIP archive, which is most likely why you're getting those errors on installation.

I can assure you, internet access is NOT required to install this software. I installed MyDMX one time when my internet connection was disabled due to a bad bit of equipment on my room(my provider is WIFI). No problems. I got the software a few days earlier, just didn't get around to installing it until my roof top box died and I couldn't get anything else done.
Let me add to chris's post. Upon first installing and running the my dmx software with the hardware connected it may ask for you to block or unblock the program in windows firewall. The ONLY thing the software is doing is checking our servers to verify the interface connected to the software is a legit interface and not some knockoff. make sense?
Sincerely,
