Just wondered if DMX2 will have a Profile Editor as the manual is somewhat confusing to say the least. It suggests there is a Scan Library editor on page 4, then on page 5 it says go to Scan Library Topic that dosn't appear to exsist.

Also I am assuming that .ssl extensions are differenet to .ssl2 extentions. However I did find that if you change the extention old .ssl files to .ssl2 files they all seem to work.

But the big elephant in the room is that when we installed the software on the new Win7 laptop at the club, we plugged in the old controller and after a few minutes it worked fine which beggers me why buy or attempt to sell the new product that works on the old version. Having looked in the driver folder in Windows 7 there is a driver file for a "generic trigger controller". More to the point DMX2 still appears to use DAS boxes architecture.

Hello,
Yes you are correct that the ssl and ssl2 are different. MyDmx2 supports .ssl2 files
On PC computers, you can open up the ScanLibraryEditor and create profiles and save them as .ssl2 There is a editor program being developed for Mac computers, but has yet to be released.
