I tried using the CMY generic but the CMY changers do not control the intensity of the light. It needs a 4th channel simular to the RGBdimmer.
These actually slip on to the front of a par 56 fixture like a gel frame but allow you to select any color you want.

YES Thank you could you add a dimmer channel to the CMY this gives me the profile I need.

I dont understand why it would be redundant?
the CMY only controls the density of the 3 colors the 4th control would control the intensity of the light behind it.
Are you saying you can drag and drop the fixture over the CMY?
See the pic below.

channels 1-3 are the CMY Profile. ch 4 is the adding of a generic par 36 profile (Generic dimmer)
Now I created a CMYD profile which is just CMY and a Dimmer. That profile is on channel 8-11. That is how it is redundant. It provides the same function. I'm not saying you can drag and drop profile over the already patched profile but you can add on to them. Let me know if this makes sense.

Put in a standard dimmer profile where it's needed? Alternatively, I might modify the CMY profile to include a dimmer channel. but it serves the same purpose twice. profile changes are as easy as dragging and dropping with my dmx. Tell me what you’re thinking.
