I play guitar in a band and we've got a few LED pars that we usually stick on sound to light but I am keen on getting a better lighting rig even if its just a couple of movers and some better par cans but basically I want an easy way to be able to control the lights whilst playing so after hours of searching i've found out about MyDMX. Now my question is would I be able to program different scenes on MyDMX and control them using a midi foot controller like the Behringer FCB1010? Ideally I would like to have a few different scenes such as a fast colour chase, a slow colour chase, black out, red stage wash, blue stage wash etc. and then be able to change between whilst playing.

I understand this is theoretical but I just want to make sure i'm not missing out any huge bits of information before I start spending my money!

Thanks

Hi Callumg, I remember hearing a lot of questions about the FCB1010 and my dmx, but I think it should work. you can also search these forums for topics on the FCB1010 and see what others have said. But I think it should work. So long as you realize my dmx 2.0 only does one scene playback at a time, you cannot stack or layer multiple scenes on top of one another. Make sense?
Thanks.
