MyDMX Issue-When I reset all lights go crazy!?

My question is when MyDMX freezes, I unplug USB to reset it and when the USB is unpluged form the dongle all lights flash and go crazy. Is there a way to prevent any lights from coming on when I unplug the dongle?? Can I set everything to remain in blackout when there is no dmx signal??

This is something that would be a setting on your actual fixtures. You would need to look for a "HOLD" type setting on your fixtures. what hold does it is will tell the fixture to hold the last sent DMX values for a allotted amount of time. This is not something you can do with the software. It is your fixtures. If you have further questions let me know.

I understand that for my digital fixtures, but how to I set a "HOLD" for my fixtures with dipswitches and my Dimmer packs?

Well for one not all fixtures have this feature. Also to find out how to set it up or to see if your fixtures do have it please refer to the user manual of the fixture.
