mode channel

I am new to this so be gentle. I have some ADJ 7 channel propar56 rgb's. In MyDMX 2 the 6th channel says mode. When I slide the slider up a musical note icon appears. What is this channel for?

Channel 6 is the pre-programmed color mixing and color change modes. Position 224-255 is the sound active position (musical note). Do a quick websearch for ProPar 56 user guide, and it will list all the features of each channel for that light.

the best way to know for sure is double check the user manual for the exact fixture that you have. If it is an ADJ light, the manuals are all on the americandj.com website
