Missing DLL

after down loading the latest version of my DMX 2 for windows
ive tried opening the 3d visuliser says i have a missing dwmapi.dll
ive downloaded the dll file, where do i extract it to?
i have placed it in the programme but now i get
the procedre entry point_except_handler4_common could not be located in the dynamic linl library msvcrt.dll

have i placed it in the right place?or am i doing something else wrong?
i also get the same message if i try and open scanlibrary

any help please

i have installed this release but it wont launch
this aplication has failed to start because the aplication configuration is incorrect
so im no better off
anything else i can try?
