I am interested in hooking up a midi controller to the software so we can go through our made shows via that instead of the keyboard and mouse. Any suggestions on a unit to use/buy? And how do we program it. Thanks!

Do you already have some ideas as far as midi devices? Some of the Korg ones work well. there is the MIDIcon from Elation. Also there is a iPad app for my dmx 2.0 Look in the itunes app store for "Easy Remote".

Jingles thanks for the find. Easy remote seems like it would be the best thing as I have a tablet. Already installed it just having some trouble figuring out how this works. I built what seems to be a desktop but not sure how to control the lights from it.
you can right click pretty much anything in the program and select link to easy remote and then press the button on the tablet and that links that function, fader, etc to that button.
But please note this is a early release of it. It will be updated I think by the end of July with some cool new improvements.

Late to the party but I just use a USB connected Beat Pad, Works well for my purposes.
I'm starting to think I should have hung onto my APC40 for this purpose... But it would be nick if someone (ADJ?) were to release somthing really geared twards this. something like the APC40 with slides and a few midi pads below them, but w/ twice the amount of slides and maybe not such a big sample pad...
