Trying to get "myDMX" 1.0 to be triggered by midi from Propresenter 7. When I click learn the commands on the user tab and Triger midi from propresenter the dialoged box in "myDMX" disappears meaning that the midi was recognized. But when "myDmx" will not playback when midi commands are given again. Any help is welcomed

Are you using a virtual midi driver like LoopBe to bridge the two on the same computer or what is your set up?

ok, well none of us are familiar with ProPresenter, and if MyDMX MIDI window goes away that means MyDMX is seeing it, so maybe it is something on the PP7 side or in a setting in there.
I have tried using MIDI Tools so I'm not using PP7. myDMX will learn the midi command but still does not trigger user settings in playback in myDMX
What MyDMX hardware do you have? amigo? Buddy? were they upgraded to the FULL license for MIDI?
Can you take a short video of the issue so we can understand it better?
