I just got a used Mega Flash DMX and it seems totally dead. The power light does not come on regardless of what the dipswitches are set to.
I've checked the fuse in the back and it looks good. I've read from other topics that there are fuses on the board but I have no idea how to access that since the enclosure appears to be one single piece of metal. Do I have to start removing stuff through the slot for the bulb?
Any advice on how to troubleshoot this would be great. Thanks.

I am sorry to hear that the Mega Flash isn't powering on. It is likely that the main PCB may have gone out so it might not be as simple internal fuse swap as that fuse will be mounted directly to the board and not easily removable.
Thanks, I still would like to try and fix it as I have experience with soldering and electronics repair. Also I see there's a standard fuse holder on this board, seems it should be easy enough to replace if I can get to it. I really hate to throw things in the trash just because a single component failed.
In case anyone cares I got into it and sure enough the fuse on the board is blown. Should be a super easy fix if I can figure out exactly what kind of fuse this is.
You just need to remove the bulb, pry out the reflective shielding which is a bit difficult, remove the three screws holding the black mounting plate and it will pull right out. The fuse is on the board attached to the black mounting plate.

Thanks! I believe this is the fuse I need but I'm in Canada and ADJ doesn't seem to ship here. If I could get the exact rating and type of fuse (slow blow?) I can replace it.
