Inno pocket spots

I have a pair of Inno pocket spots but am unclear on some of the operations.
Once I have set them up including one as Pan Invert they work fine in sound to light, but whay happens if I then use DMX does this completely override the settings.
If I still what one fitting to have Pan Invert via DMX do I have to set this by DMX. Should I still use as master /slave or if I have other fitting that are different and have them daisy chained do I have to set a separate scene for each Inno Spots.
