I am clearly a newbie and I need to know if it is possible to control 2 P36 LED fixtures with the Elation LED Operator. All I want to do is to control the mix of the three colours and the overall intensity.
When I connect the LED Operator to a P36 with only first DIP switch on (the setting apparently for DMX control), I get the blackout feature on the Operator working, and responses to various commands on the Operator, but not the responses that one would expect.
On another exchange there was a suggestion that the lights are 6 channel and the Operator is only 3 channel. There was also a suggestion that one could set the P36s to operate in 3 channel mode, but I can find nothing in the documentation that confirms that or tells me how to do it.
Suggestions anyone?
