How to fix loose USB connection on v1.0?

The USB cable doesn't fit snug in the port anymore. Do you guys have any tips or tricks to get the USB cable to fit tightly again?

Have you tried just using a new usb cable? You don't have to use the included one.

I've tried that, it's the actual port. I know you lovely people don't sell v1.0 anymore but if I get v2.0,will I be able to import my ~150 scenes over? That's the only thing that's been keeping me from upgrading.

Yes it should work. In fact you can test it now by installing the May 5th 2014 release of 2.0 and import your .dlm file and see how it goes.
