Just wondering how long does it take to get your system up and going? and how early do you arrive at your gig?

it depends on how large the crowd is going to be. the bigger the crowd the longer it takes me because i bring bigger sound and lights
Im always setup AT LEAST 30min before the show. This gives time to visualize and get your mind set.
from 30-1:45 min, because i got 4 cv subs which are H-E-A-V-Y! adn then lights is about 20 min or more
It all depends. Wether it is an outdoor event and I'll need concert size speakers, or a school dance. The longest I took was 3 hours, And the shortest was about 45 mins.
I BRING 2 PEOPLE ALONG AND MY DAD WHICH HELP ME HOKE UP EVERYTHING AND STUFF THATS Y IT DOESNT TAKE THAT LONG , IF IT WERNT FOR THEM IT WOULD TAKE ME FOREVER
It all depends on the size of the setup. On average, by myself, about 20-30 minutes just to plug everything in and turn on. It can be an additional 30-60 minutes just to move it all from the car to the function room or whatever - that's the hard/annoying part of it especially if there are stairs or restricted access.

About an hour for lights, and 30 minutes for sound.
an hour and a half for mains subs 8 dmx lights and lil g beam
It veries from where I am. If I have to drag my big fogger along too even more.

I normally take close to two hours to get everything set up
and tested. Of course, I run my main computer, a backup computer,
and have 700 songs in the disc changer just in case,
as well as quite a few lights.
