Help with midi triggering in Logic X

You'll need a MIDI driver like LoopBE to communicate from midi out from Logic X to have MIDI be detected in MyDMX2.
Otherwise, without the driver, MyDMX 2.0 is only able to see USB to MIDI devices.

Thanks James. That makes perfect sense. LoopBE is only for windows though, correct? Could you recommend any other downloads?

no idea, sorry. It's the only one i've ever used and i haven't looked at it closely enough to remember if it is Mac compatible or not.

Last question hopefully. Will I need to have the dongle hooked up and working before Mydmx 2.0 will recognize the midi out from logic x? Or will the option to click 'learn midi command' theoretically be able to be clicked once the dongle is hooked up. I guess another way of asking could be: If I was running a basic m-audio keyboard to control the midi in Mydmx 2.0, would Mydmx 2.0 recognize the midi sends without the dongle being connected?
