HAVE A CAR SHOW DISPLAY (SEE ATTACHED) AND I AM LOOKING FOR A FAIRLY INEXPENSIVE WAY TO PROJECT A COLORED STROBE LIGHT (OR OTHER) TOWARD MY WHEELS. I HAVE FLOORING & I THOUGHT I MIGHT ATTACH THE LIGHT TO THE EDGE OF THE FLOORING, PROJECTING THE LIGHT TOWARD EACH (4) WHEEL/RIM. I USE STANCHIONS WITH THE DISPLAY, SO TRIPPING OR KICKING THE LIGHTS WILL BE MINUIMIZED.

For a subtle effect, you can use LEDs mounted on the poles to point to your rims. Battery powered and basicly hidden. You could use the simple ones they sell on keychains (that lock to the on position). Like $15-25 and last about 100 hours or so. It probably wont be bright enough to say add a blue glow to your red paint, but the crome will really reflect it. Buy 1 and see what you think.
You could also hide them around the engine to reflect off the hood, maybe light your dash/interior as well.
