Focus Spot 4z/5z brightness

Hi could anyone from ADJ clarify this? The photometric reports from these two lights show that the 5z is MUCH brighter than the 4z at every equivalent zoom setting. Yet I've spoken with dealers who've insisted that the 4z and 5z share the same LED source and have identical optics (and the chassis they both use is identical). Are these reports just wrong or is there something in the 5z causing it to be so much brighter?
