Flashing Your MCD-810 - Is It Possible?

A customer tech at American Audio emailed me a DAT file to do a firmware upgrade on this deck. I never could get the deck to read the DAT file on any CD. What gives? I emailed the tech and he will not respond. This was months ago. Anyone had success doing this procedure and how did you do it? My firmware version is 212327. Could this be the latest?

I did the firmware upgrade with a file that came from American DJ and my firmware now reads 212398. Here is a hint: once both decks say upgrade is successful you have to shut down the cd players and turn them back on in order for the firmware to take affect.
