I may be starting my introduction to the device the hard way, but i have found the profile for a U King ZQ01424 RGBW Par can and despite it being loaded and my par can being set to dmx address 001, hard wired to the fixture from the dongle, im using an android tablet and i cant get any access to the light.

Hi, be sure you are using DMX output area number 1, not 2 on the GO hardware. Some people have said to try to start fixtures at address 2.
Be sure that the app is detecting the hardware and says so.
Yes, i noticed two xlr ports, i went into number 1 and as i say for some reason the presets along the bottom, number 1 seemed to stop anything from working.
Since i posted yesterday i have had two par cans running and two equipment wash fx hex, all looks really good so far. Moving heads tomorrow and LED battens.
I think i found my answer by accident, the preset buttons on the app were pressed and then we had light! The lights are registered to UKing and they are in the listings, so that was easy enough,
