DMX Partner Programs

How are the pre-progrmas on the DMX Partner? Are they similar to the moves you would see on the light demos? I'm looking at the Performance Scn 250 pack and it comes with a pre-programmed Partner. Just wondering if this would be usefull to get me up and running. Were also getting a DMX Operator 192 and 4 -Par 64 Led's, just thought that I could trigger presets in the Partner until I get up to speed, but wasn't sure how usefull they are and and how many presets there are to choose from.
