I am trying to program 2 adj focus spot 3z's using a Congo Jr running cobalt v7 software for a high school theater program. I have talked to ETC and the board is talking but the lights aren't listening. I was wondering what the best settings are on the lights. The dmx channels match the settings In the patching. I am not sure about slave mode.

Hi, if you are using DMX then slave mode doesn't apply to your situation, the master/slave, now called primary/secondary only applies to the lights when a DMX controller is not in use. All fixtures should be in the same channel mode as the mode you patched in the console and the same starting DMX addresses should be set up on the lights themselves in their menu structures on-board that show up as the starting DMX channel for the patched lights.
