I bought dcdpro1000 couple of months back. Loved the unit but the left cd player have already stopped reading CDs. Tried about 15 diff cds (the same cds work on the other side).

have you cleaned the cd with a reader. Just call 800 322 6337 and ask for support

support I brought my unit back home last night and i went back to try the machine out today. and it is working fine .

Do you know of any power issues like low voltage or noisy voltage that might cause problems in the machine?? looking for any other reason to explain yesterdays happenings with the skipping.
Seems like there were nasty gremlins around yesterday.
I hope this was just a freak of nature cause the unit is truly a great machine

I do know that the unit needs to have grtround for the touch sensitivity to work properly. nothing else though
