dcd pro 1000 cd locks up when can't read

Has this happin to any of my fellow dj's out there?

Senerio: DJ put's in a cd in to player 1 or 2, the dcd 1000 does not read, and continue to try to read, thus will not allow the DJ to eject the cd.

No other option put to turn off the player to get the cd to stop trying.

Suggestion for techs which I think we would gladly pay for: either install an emergency tiny release button one one each player or a separate power button for each tray / player.

I currently am the lead tech dj for a popular club and I choose this product for the club. So far it's been running day in and day out since January. Great product just a suggestion for the next player.

hemihem. That is a great ideal. (The seperate power buttons), or even just an emergency eject. So are you running into this problem? The funny thing is I just ran into that situation with an S5000. After I rebooted the CD player, ejected the CD it read it fine when I re-inserted it...Go figure.
