Everytime I select a fixture the program crashes. I do not have any of the listed apps for my mac that Ive seen in similar forums, magnet, cinch, etc. I do have ableton.

What release date of mydmx 3 software, and what profile? Could just be a bad profile.
It was the Live Enhancement Suite that was tripping it up. Side note, when I downloaded 3 it didnt give me the visualizer. Is that a seperate download?

No, the MyDMX 3 out of the box comes with EXPRESS license, which does not include 3D, MIDI, or Easy Remote/ Show tab in the software. They however are all included in the FULL license, which you have a free 30-day trial of, or you can purchase on a yearly subscription or one time-lifetime purchase.

So I just spent $300 and I still have to spend more to get the rest of the program. You realize how much of a joke that is right?
Those limitations are small, the program still works just fine and you can try them for 30-days or unplug the box from the computer to demo the 3D for free but with no DMX output.
These limitations are also stated in both the product description and the specs tab of the MyDMX 3 product page. We aren't hiding anything, it's written on the product page.
Give it a shot for a few days with or without your free trial FULL license and if you don't like it, unregister the box and return it.
