copy the file

Not quite sure what you have done, but i my personal experience i found that if i install ADJ MyDmx on both computer and laptop (using the .exe original file) then i just save my show and stage set-up on a memory pen and just upload from that on the laptop

Thank you for comment the program works fine on my desktop computer downloaded from the Internet
what I need is to be able to put the program on my laptop as they is no installation disk when you purchase
the full package and as I said I copied it onto a USB stick it installed okay but when I try to load it
I get this error message

I've also tried it on a friends computer and the same thing happened
however we were able to download the program via the Internet
and it worked perfectly on his computer
if there was an installation disk I would have no problem
if I could simply copy the file to my laptop I would definitely purchase the full package
any help would be greatly appreciated
I don't really want to purchase a new laptop
just to run the program

are you copying The original single file from the download (mydmx-april2010) to the laptop, or are you copying the installed file's from your computer?

download this straight on to your USB Stick,
when Download is finished plug the USB Stick into your laptop,
unzip and install the file ADJ.exe

I successfully loaded it to my USB stick and then transferred it to my laptop
although the program goes on okay and extracts all the files
when I try to launch the program
I still get this message
esa.exl Entry point not found
I might just bite the bullet and purchased a new laptop
however I have tried this on two separate computers
and get the same message
I think the only way to run the program properly
is a straight download from the Internet
it's a shame that they don't include an installation CD

whichever way it works out I would definitely be purchasing this product
I used to work with a 3032 controller by Martin Professional
at the moment I'm using a scanmaster but can definitely see the advantages
of the mydmx
